Revival and the Blood of Jesus

We trust you all had a wonderful "Resurrection Day Celebration"! It is during this season that we focus on the Blood of Jesus shed for us on the cross. Billye Brim wrote in her book, "The Blood and the Glory", that past revivals have always come with emphasis on the Blood. In our Wednesday night prayer meeting at Third Day Victory Church (where we always cry out for great spiritual revival in our land) the Lord said, "Make much of the Blood". Many years ago, I had the privilege of teaching a course on spiritual warfare in the Victory Bible College. One week, we studied the power of the Blood of Jesus to protect us from evil. Just a few days later, one of our students was attacked by a man as she was closing up her shop. As he attempted to rape her, she remembered the lesson. She just kept saying, "The Blood of Jesus! The Blood of Jesus!" The man became very angry. He told her to shut up but she refused. She kept shouting, "The Blood of Jesus". He became so agitated that he let her go and ran away!

Just as the death angel passed over the Israelites' homes when he saw the blood of the lamb on their doorposts so our enemy the devil cannot harm us when we, in prayer, cover ourselves with the Blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God (See Exodus 12:23).

Let's do it right now. Let's cover our loved ones. Let's cover our homes, our cities, our province. Let's cover our nation with the blood of Jesus! Canada has been dedicated to Christ. The enemy cannot come to destroy us or steal our God given destiny!
