Thanksgiving Holiday

In The Voice translation of the Bible, this verse reads: "Give thanks to God no matter what circumstances you find yourself in."

When King David heard that his firstborn son with Bathsheba had died, he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped (See 2 Samuel 12:20). When Job lost his family, his possessions, his business, he fell to the ground and worshiped the Lord (See Job 1:20).

We don't always feel like worshiping or giving thanks, do we? But we can choose to.

This Thanksgiving holiday, let's all determine to worship our Father in Heaven who gave His only begotten Son to die for us on the cross so that we can have eternal life.

No matter what our circumstances are, let's GIVE THANKS!

Would you respond to this word by sharing one thing in particular for which you can be thankful?
