Pentecost

On Sunday, May 24, those of us who know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, will be celebrating Pentecost, remembering the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as described in Acts chapter 2.

Did you know that more than a million Christians all around the world from various denominations prepare for this occasion by holding what is called, “Thy Kingdom Come”? It is a global prayer movement that invites Christians to intercede from Ascension Day (May 14 this year) to Pentecost for more people to come to faith in Jesus Christ, AND for a fresh outpouring of Holy Spirit. Started in 2016 by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York in England, it has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

What Canada needs more than anything at this time, is a massive spiritual revival. Let’s join our brothers and sisters in Christ in praying for a great harvest of souls and for a mighty move of Holy Spirit across our land! Come on. Let’s answer the call!
