PRAYER FOR CANADA

This coming weekend, we will be celebrating Palm Sunday. Considering this, and what is happening right now in our beloved country, we thought this message would be appropriate.

In Mark 11:9, it tells how the crowds honoured Jesus as He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, shortly before His crucifixion. It is known as "the Lord's triumphal entry". The crowd's shout, "Hosanna" seems to be an utterance of praise but in the original Hebrew, it is actually a prayer. It says, "Save, we pray". In Aramaic, it means "O save us now" or "Bring the Victory".

This is our prayer for Canada:

"O Lord, save us now! Bring the victory to our nation! Save us from every evil agenda of the wicked one and bring Canada to Christ! You are our only hope. Pour out your Spirit upon this land. Bring transformation to every province, every city, every town, every street, every home, in Jesus' Name. Pour out your Spirit upon all flesh as You have said in Joel 2:28.

Would you join with us in this prayer? Jesus said, "If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven" (Matthew 18:19).

By faith, let's declare together, "Canada IS being saved!"
